Two hour maximum stay per visit.
Parents on Premises
Little Sprouts is a service provided for parents while using
the gym facility, and is not a full time childcare. Island
Fitness cannot be held responsible for anything that could
happen to your child if you left the building.
Illness Policy
Children who are ill or showing symptoms of developing illness
(such as runny nose, cough, or just not feeling well) cannot attend
Little Sprouts. Please wait at least 24 hours after a fever,
vomiting, or starting antibiotics, before returning your child
to childcare.
Staff Intervention
If your child becomes upset and cannot be consoled, misbehaves
in a way that is harmful to others, or becomes ill while at
Little Sprouts, a staff member will find you in the gym to
take care of your child.
Diapers
We will change diapers when needed if you leave a LABELLED diaper bag.
Snacks and Food Allergies
Bring a snack for your child if you think he/she may want one.
Children frequently want to share snacks, so be sure to let
us know if your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Please LABEL any snacks or drinks you leave with us. Do not
bring anything containing nuts or peanuts. We will provide
graham crackers and water, upon request, to children without snacks.
Toys from Home
Any toys brought from home need to be shared with other children
while at Little Sprouts. Please make sure your child understands
this rule. Please do not bring toy weapons, toys with weapon-like
parts or toys with small parts that could be a choking hazard
to younger children.
Older children
Please refer to this document, which outlines our policies regarding children ages 9 to 18 years.
