Heart Rate Training with a Heart! Join Kathi for a special indoor cycling series and help a child in our community through Hannah's Hopeful Hearts. Island Fitness will donate 80% of the proceeds from this program to the Olson Lab in Seattle, a research team at the forefront of pediatric the brain tumor study that we hope will lead to a cure. Heart rate monitors will be used as a guide for these energizing 90-minute workouts. Kathi will give practical instruction that you can take with you to any indoor cycling class or out on the road. What: DON'T BLAME THE DRIVER, OR THE TREES FOR GETTING IN THE WAY OF YOUR GAME! Improve control and accuracy of your swing by improving movement of your Hips, Core and Shoulders. Each one and one-half hour training session will cover proper warm-up drills, flexibility and stability of the shoulders, back, hips, and legs, as well as postural control and core strength. We will work to improve endurance and power throughout the range of motion of your swing to help you improve your game and your overall fitness. What: This is the class for the high schooler wanting to excel in their sport or just find and surpass their ultimate best.
