Trainer Tip from Diane Peterson

Breath and Focus increase the effectiveness of your workout. If you can read a book while on the cardio machines or do your strength training program while daydreaming about something else, then your workout isn't working optimally for you. Focusing on your breath, pace, and what your muscles are doing with each movement, makes your stride or rep count more. That way you can get the most effective workout in the least amount of time! And we can all use a little more time.
