Bainbridge Island native, Dominique is excited to join the team at Island Fitness. Dominique was actively involved in many sports while growing up and eventually became hooked on volleyball. She played volleyball at the University of Redlands, where they won their conference and went on to play in the NCAA D3 National Tournament. She was also captain of her club team at Simon Fraser University. She now shares her passion for the sport with young players as a coach at Bainbridge High School and Olympic Premier Volleyball Club.

Dominique went through significant knee surgery before her senior year in high school. Going through the recovery process made her appreciate the human body! She also learned the importance of coaches and health professionals to the recovery process. As she continued to heal, Dominique discovered a passion for strength and conditioning while working with the Redlands' strength coaches. Working hard, getting stronger and having fun can all go hand in hand!

Dominique applies this philosophy to training her clients. Every step you take to look after your body is an accomplishment and that journey can be filled with fun and enjoyment!
