Lis has always been on the go and active. Growing up in Chicago, she played soccer and got into strength training. Lis graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Goucher College, and then went on to receive her pastry degree at the French Pastry School of Chicago. She moved to Bainbridge Island to be closer to family and became the pastry chef at Coquette.
In the beginning of her fitness journey, Lis just wanted to get strong and lift heavy. As time went on, she realized the importance of slowing down and focusing more on form and mobility for longevity.
We all start somewhere. Whether you’re new and just starting your fitness journey, or have been on your journey for some time, Lis is excited to help you reach your goals!
In her free time, Lis enjoys walking her dog in Gazzam Lake Trail park, reading, hiking, playing pool, and eating good food.
