I love Island Fitness in Bainbridge Island! This gym is a safe, clean and supportive environment to meet your fitness goals. I especially love the group fitness classes. There are many to choose from with amazing instructors. My favorites are Qigong and Yoga with Patricia, Yoga with Kayla, Zumba with Josh, and Barre with Tina. I can’t believe the level of excellence in teaching at such an affordable small gym. I’ve paid so much more in the past for far less. Run, walk, dance, or downward dog your way to this gym. You won’t regret it.

Island Fitness is one more reason to love living on Bainbridge.Every employee is helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Everybody truly cares. This is not to say that anybody is too nosy. If you prefer to workout in solitude, nobody will bother you. However, if you need/want help, you are surrounded by friendly, helpful people.The equipment is high-quality and there is an excellent, large selection of equipment. There's never any waiting in line.Another great thing is the all-inclusive pricing. A fair monthly fee includes access to the gym, lots of great fitness classes and other benefits. Fitness classes (such as spin and yoga) are included with the monthly gym membership, making it a fantastic deal! (Free parking is another perk.) There is space available in the classes, often with short notice. And the instructors in these classes are great. You can freely explore different exercise/training techniques. You might be shocked by what you find. (I love my Barre Hello class!)They have well trained, professional trainers. (Monthly membership also includes some free sessions with them!) Watching the trainers work with seniors is amazing. A beautiful demonstration of patience and caring.
