The Fitness Industry Is at Risk!

Michael and Alexa Rosenthal have owned and operated Island Fitness on Bainbridge Island for almost 20 years. The club has become an essential part of our community.

The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA), the largest organization in the fitness industry, has compiled data showing the devastating impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the health and fitness industry.

Health and fitness facilities around the country continue to face a significant loss of revenue, and will do so for the foreseeable future. Clubs that have re-opened are opening at 25-50% capacity while still having to pay 100% of their expenses. According to IHRSA, 25% of clubs are projected to close by the end of 2020.

We believe Island Fitness is worth saving, but we need your help!
